Baker University has named Dallas Boone as head men's wrestling coach.

Boone comes to Baker after spending the past season as an assistant coach and game-day operations coordinator at Avila University, where he assisted with recruiting, athlete development and program operations while leading team practices and individual technique sessions. He previously served as a graduate assistant at Avila from 2023-25.

As a competitor, Boone wrestled at both the NJCAA and NCAA Division II levels. He was a two-time NJCAA All-American and Academic All-American at Neosho County Community College in 2019 and 2020 before earning All-Conference Carolinas honors at King University in 2022 and 2023. In 2023, he won the NCAA Division II Region 2 championship and advanced to the NCAA Division II National Championships.

Boone earned a bachelor's degree in history from King in 2022 and a master's degree in management from Avila in 2025. He is also a graduate of the NWCA Wrestling Coaches Leadership Academy.
