Lehigh head wrestling coach Brad Dillon has finalized his coaching staff for the 2026-27 season, promoting both of his assistants and adding a decorated newcomer to the room. Zack Rey moves up to associate head coach, Vincenzo Joseph shifts into a full-time assistant role and three-time All-American Michael McGee joins the Mountain Hawks as an assistant.

Rey enters his ninth season on staff and comes off a recent induction into the EIWA Hall of Fame. A 2011 NCAA champion and three-time All-American, Rey ranks among the most accomplished heavyweights in Lehigh history and works across all weight classes while specializing with the upper weights. With Rey on staff, Lehigh has produced an EIWA finalist at 285 pounds in eight straight conference tournaments and 10 of the last 11 overall. His impact extends well beyond the upper weights — Lehigh wrestlers have claimed 13 individual EIWA titles over the past three seasons. Much of that success has run through Luke Stanich, who has won EIWA titles and All-America honors at both 125 and 141 pounds in his first two seasons under Rey's guidance. Rey also helped Stanich capture a U20 world title in Bulgaria in August 2025.

Joseph, a two-time NCAA champion at Penn State, heads into his second year at Lehigh after a first season that ended with the program's 40th EIWA team title and five individual champions. He worked across weight classes but found particular success in the middleweights, where Logan Rozynski and Max Brignola each won individual EIWA titles. As a competitor, Joseph was a four-time All-American for the Nittany Lions, winning NCAA titles as a freshman in 2017 and sophomore in 2018 before finishing runner-up as a junior in 2019. He closed his career as a first-team NWCA All-American in a senior season cut short when the NCAA Tournament was canceled due to COVID-19.

McGee arrives in Bethlehem after two seasons as recruiting coordinator at Arizona State, bringing a résumé that includes three All-America finishes and four conference titles as a competitor. He went 64-11 across three seasons at Arizona State, medaling at 133 pounds all three years -- sixth in 2021, fourth in 2022 and third in 2023. He won back-to-back Pac-12 titles in his final two seasons and earned NWCA Scholar All-American honors following the 2022-23 season. Before Arizona State, McGee spent three seasons at Old Dominion, winning consecutive MAC titles at 125 pounds in 2018 and 2019.

Beyond his coaching duties at Arizona State, McGee continued competing for Atreus Wrestling RTC, placing sixth at 61 kilograms at the 2025 U.S. Open. A Bolingbrook, Ill., native and two-time Illinois state champion at Plainfield East, McGee graduated from Arizona State in 2023 with a degree in sport management.
