Northern Oklahoma College-Tonkawa (NOC) has named Angelica Garcia as head women's wrestling coach.

Garcia comes to NOC after two years teaching and coaching in the Amarillo Independent School District in Amarillo, Texas, where she has also been involved in youth wrestling and worked as a wrestling official.

As a competitor at Wayland Baptist University, Garcia was a four-time state qualifier, three-time state placer and three-time national qualifier at the WCWA/NAIA level. She graduated from Wayland Baptist with a bachelor's degree in business administration with a specialization in cybersecurity.

Garcia replaces Jayden Miller, who led the NOC program for two years before being named head coach at Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa.
