Doane adds U17 world silver medalist Hattendorf
Skylar Hattendorf, a past age group world medalist, has committed to Doane University.
A Fargo champion in high school, Hattendorf has continued to excel in international events. She won a gold medal at 62 kilograms for the United States at the 2022 U20 Pan-American Championships and followed with a silver medal in 2024. She also earned silver at the Bill Farrell Memorial International and previously claimed a silver medal at the 2019 U17 World Championships. A former resident athlete at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center, she has trained among the nation's elite.
In addition to competing collegiately for the Tigers, Hattendorf will also compete for the Tiger Wrestling Club.
The Tigers are coming off a 13th-place finish at the 2026 NAIA Women's Wrestling National Championships with 37.5 points, highlighted by Cristelle Rodriguez's third national title.
