Two-time All-American Anthony Echemendia is headed to Lincoln to wrestle for Nebraska.
Echemendia announced his commitment to the Huskers on Thursday. He competed for Iowa State the past three seasons, earning All-America honors at 141 pounds in 2024 (fifth) and 2026 (sixth). The Cuban native started his college career at Ohio State.
He has one season of eligibility remaining.
Nebraska also added Lucas Cochran from Penn State. He's expected to compete at 184 pounds.
Last month, Nebraska added 125-pounder Vincent Robinson, a 2025 NCAA champion and two-time All-American, via the transfer portal.
