Parco commits to Iowa, Brands announces return

On Tuesday, the Iowa Hawkeyes bolstered their 2024-25 roster.
Four-time All-American Kyle Parco announced that he will be transferring to Iowa, while All-American Nelson Brands announced that he will be back in a Hawkeye singlet.
Parco spent the past three season at Arizona State after starting his career at Fresno State. He placed fifth at the NCAAs this past season at 149 pounds. His previous NCAA finishes are fourth (2023), eighth (2022) and sixth (2021).
Brands, a fifth-place finisher at the 2023 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships at 174 pounds, is returning to the Iowa wrestling team after serving a one-year suspension for sports betting.
