All-American Lee transferring from Minnesota to Indiana

Brayton Lee is coming home.
Lee, a 2021 NCAA All-American for the University of Minnesota, announced on Instagram that he is returning to his home state to wrestle for the University of Indiana after entering the transfer portal on Aug. 27.
The Indiana native spent the past five seasons at Minnesota, qualifying for the NCAAs twice. He placed sixth at the 2021 NCAAs at 157 pounds. Lee has battled injuries throughout his collegiate wrestling career. In 2022, Lee compiled a record of 17-2 before suffering a season-ending injury less than month before the postseason. Last season, Lee posted a 4-9 record.
Lee has one season of college wrestling eligibility remaining.
